The cost of reskinning a drum depends on the state the drum is in, are the rope and rings still in good condition? Does the drum need oiling, new rope, new rings?

I am one of the very few people who apart from goat, uses kangaroo skin for Djembeh’s, which I think is an excellent choice with its natural high tone, and perhaps closer to the original sound of the antelope hide which traditionally topped the djembeh, then the recent alternative of goat, and hey we are in Australia !
